Saiuen Gardens is located in Granite Falls, Washington, approximately one hour from Seattle. The private property sits along the Pilchuck River and is surrounded by Japanese gardens and Pacific Northwest forest.

Our maximum capacity is 100. We are able to accommodate a maximum of 40 vehicles in our parking lot with the use of valet services. 

Our venue rental includes 10 consecutive hours, beginning at 12:00 p.m. and ending at 10:00 p.m.

Vendors may complete teardown between 10:00 and 11:00 p.m. All guests and vendors must depart by 11:00 p.m.

We require couples to hire at least a day-of coordinator to assist with the floor plan, timeline, setup and teardown. The coordinator must also attend the one-month venue walkthrough with the couple.

Yes. We offer one hour of rehearsal time during the week of the wedding, subject to venue availability.

Yes. Due to the unique layout of our property and limited on-site parking, valet service is required for weddings and larger events at Saiuen Gardens.

We partner with Butler Valet, a professional premium valet provider, to manage guest arrivals, parking, and departures throughout the event. Their team helps ensure parking is organized efficiently while creating a smooth and welcoming experience for your guests from the moment they arrive.

Valet service is included as part of your event pricing, with arrangements coordinated based on your guest count and event needs. We’ll provide the details and help manage the logistics as part of your planning process.

Starting from 2027 season, the venue rental includes 200 chairs: 100 dedicated to the ceremony and 100 dedicated to the reception.

The rental also includes 14 rectangular tables (8 guests per table)

Saiuen is primarily an outdoor wedding venue. Ceremonies, cocktail hours and receptions are hosted throughout the garden. The couple, immediate family and wedding party may use the main house for getting ready.

To preserve the delicate beauty and natural surroundings of our venue, we kindly ask that pets be left at home. Thank you for understanding and helping us maintain this special setting for all our guests.

We require couples to select a full-service caterer from our preferred catering list. These caterers are familiar with the property and help create a smooth event experience. For all other services, we provide recommended vendors but do not require couples to use them.

Yes! We provide a 3D and a 2D floorplan platform through Merri which can be used by planners, caterers and the couple. With this tool, you can create floorplans, create furniture lists, create seating charts, and add guest food selections/dietary restrictions. 

Most of our wedding packages includes one night of accommodations on the wedding day. The five-bedroom main house can accommodate up to 8-10 overnight guests using beds and floor-mattress arrangements.
